Vw scirocco 1979 where do i have to look at??

hi, i'm 16 years old and im gonna buy a vw scirocco from the year 1979. i know allready a lot about volkswagen golfs and beetles, but no one has ever told me something about a scirocco. so i have no clue where i have to look at when i'm gonna buy the car, does anyone has some helping information?:P

Hi wessel,
You have to look for the axle mounts, standing front walls, A-pillar and rocker tip ends. In the 78 / '79 rusts almost everything.
better you search for a 1980 or 1974-1977.
