Na veel wikken en wegen, en wat kritische vragen van derden (thanks oa. Bietultjuh :) ) Besluit ik dan toch maar om m'n 1200J te gaan verkopen.
Toch te veel projekten, een ponton die achteraf toch een projekt blijkt te worden en eigenlijk andere plannen voor veel dingen besluiten dat het toch verstandig is afstand te doen van dit unieke wagentje.
Een 1977er modeljaar 1200 (spaarkever) gemaakt in vormalig Joegoslavië.
Ik heb er een bodem/chassis bij van een 74er 1300 welke echt in perfecte staat is en dus geen enkel laswerk behoeft.
De koets zelf moet de onderkanten van de kachelkanalen nieuw hebben en een stuk van het schutbord. Hiervoor heb ik een paar 1997 mexico kokers van een schade kever (zeer harde kokers en persoonlijk zou ik ze helemaal overzetten). De bandenbak zit er wel in maar die is niet helemaal recht hiervoor heb ik ook een donorstuk.
De motor is de originele 1200 en deze is recent voorzien van nieuwe lagers, pakkingen en stoterstangpijpjes kan dus weer jaren lekvrij vooruit!
Ik heb er diverse spatborden bij waaronder een nos (1200J) voorspatbord. Zoals je verder op de foto's kunt zien; bambusrekje (lookalike?), radiopaneel reparatiestuk, zeer nette deur en achterpanelen, extra motorklep, etc.
De auto is een goed harde basis en zonder enorm veel werk kun je er een leuke unieke bak van maken!
