VAG's Czech company, Skoda, already released images of the new Superb, which is to be debuted at Geneva in March.
The car, which is based on the Passat, is larger in all dimensions except height and wheel base, which shrank 8 mm and 42 mm, respectively. Word is that the Superb will get a choice of three gas and three diesel engines combined with either a 5- or 6-speed manual transmissions or VAG's dual clutch DSG transmission.
Extra features include a version of Volkswagen's Climatronic climate control, parking assist system, and pivoting headlamps.
