I think it's gorgeous, and i don't think it looks like a 407 at all. It looks more like the MB CLS than a 407.

I, automatically, compare the CC with the standard Passat. Which makes me thing the car is out of proportions. To be specific, the front- and rearend are to long. Which indeed could make it look like a 407 (especially the 407 Coupe has some troubles with the overhang).

But I just thing these photo's are taken in the "wrong" positions. Nevertheless I still prevere the CLS!I, automatically, compare the CC with the standard Passat. The passat is way more beautiful then the peugeot...

Thje CLS do..is in a league of his own

but...then like the passat namebadge on this one...makes it less exclusive....

i think the overhang will be much less of a prob with some huge-ass rims under there.

As I said, coupe ;)

The hangover front and rear are together longer then the wheelbase itself, that's how it looks.

Passat CC goes a bit towards that direction aswell. But I agree with Tjaap, some good looking alloy would help a lot.

I have to get back on the "proportions" of the car. It's just perfect. I have seen like 500 of them @ the moment (Internship @ VW, Wolfsburg). And I really like it!

I was wondering if the CC was the Passat. In the States, they just call it the CC. I never thought to think it was the Passat. It's almost like they dropped the Passat name to make it seem even more luxurious and new and exotic. I like the looks though.

I guess that's true!

In Europe they refer to it as Passat CC, and that's all about marketing and salesnumbers...

If Ford sells like 500.000 Mondeo's annually and Volkswagen besides 450.000 regular Passat's (limosines and estates) 100.000 CC's.... Then the Passat is the most popular car in Europe, and that's just what matters...
