well...i can't be arsed makin my own project thread in mk2 forums, so here's a quick update:
Installed bbm lysholm kit and cleaned up the engine bay a bit by removing charcoal canister vac lines octopus! Just past the break in period on the charger. Still got a stock pulley on it, running with an autothority chip and a 3.5 bar fpr. I'm quite impressed with the charger's performance; pulls harder than my old g-lader with a 68mm pulley!!!! Tbh, it did have a cracked silencer box and all kinds of leaks, so, it's no surprise :D

Cheers,

I really hate winter but i can't wait to see how this thing does in the snow! :D
Oleg, you need bigger tyres...
go rob a Jeepdealer ;)
CrankWork
10-12-2009, 23:53
alrite! the snow has fallen. mmmmkayfree beater did very well on it's first mission! mk2, however, really didin't want to see any snow - as soon as the first snowflake fell on it, the heater motor stopped werking. great. more shit to fix...
and yeah, the bigger tyres would look better, but these r good enough. it's still a street machine! :D
