hi there i am phil ,

english landrover mechanic living near groningen , holland :)

posting in here as i don't speak or read a lot of dutch :shake:

any way i drive a MK2 golf GTi edition one :)

the body is a little scabby but i really like it and don't wanna sell it because it's supposed to be rare :confused: cos it is an edition one with recaro's but a re-spray is expensive ???

i would never own one , plus the tax over ere is unreal on a landrover :) :screwy:

the mk2 is a good little car really

yeh no shit, i work as a planner, sending trucks to the UK daily, we had to lay off most of our UK subcontractors and bought NO new trucks this year (normally we buy about 10 at the start of the season and clean out 6 or 7 at the end.. now we only got rid of a few old ones...

a guy i know has a haulage company from selby (north yorkshire) had to lay off 10 of his guy's last month :screwy: and he can't sell his truck's as no one is buying at the mo

no i'm dutch.. had to admit i had to look Whitby up.. just under Middlesborough i see.
Nice area. we ship out alot of trailers to Teesport and we have some drivers living in that area..

LOL whitby was famous for fishing before that died on it's arse also :)

also dracula was written there also :)

got a few mates who drive truck's but most of them live in london area :thumbup:
