Anything, would just like to browse through the VW stuff you have there. So much different from ours... And then I have a request from a friend to find light-up-shiftknobs with Maria pictures in them??

Also was amazed to see fuelpumps with alcohol the first time....and I was amazed by the way you guys drive (or it must have been the way the people in Salvador drive).

Here we talk that in Brazil, it's something like this...

"We work in the South and SouthEast to feed the people in North, Northeast and etc..."

The most of us, live in the South or Southeast wich is economically strong and have the most of industries, we move the country. To you understand better, i'll made a comparison, divides the Brazil map in two half parts, the States below it's like "First world", and the states ABOVE, it's like "Third World", in the same country.

I'll find good VW Shops in south and Southeast, in theses States: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Parana, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and even in Minas Gerais...

Cuz the states below are economically underdeveloped...But it's a good place to be on vacation but not with your car cuz the roads in Northeast are a crap (If you have a SUV, no problem), in the another side, you'll see beautiful beaches and parties to go out, drink a lot, drugs, catch some cheap bitches...and a lot of black people, don't think that Brazil it's like Salvador, Porto Seguro, Recife and all this "vacation" cities.

And good luck, you'll listen a lot of AXE CRAP MUSIC...hehehehehe

Here you drive like you want, if Police don't catch ya, sure...but only few lazy and violent cops...

Well, thanks for that explenation, I didn't know that.
Still had a good time though, plenty of parties. On my previous visit we had a VW Buggy so the roads (which were indeed terrible) were not a problem :)

Too bad my boss only sends me to Salvador, Natal and Porto Seguro. I'd love to see the south someday....

Rent a Santana or Gol if possible....

the long travel of the suspension is ideal to brazilian roads..Santana is too soft, and Gol is too hard, specially in the back ...

Or rent a Fiat Marea ? hehehehehehe

We had a Gol once, funny little car. Kind of similar to a Polo it seems...
