This is an original Santana 2000MI 1999, "Meister Drehkraft" is his name...Just release the clutch and you have all the torque that needs...change the gears about 1.500rpm 2.000rpm and he doesn't complain...Ride in 50 km/h in fifth gear, just push your right foot to feel the torque increasing speed...

Nice car to travel, even fully loaded...But the suspension is so soft, that feels like you sail in high speed (up 160 km/h)...

With Brazilian Heavy-Duty spec, like you said, 4WD look...

This pictures was taken in Itapoa - Santa Catarina, very calm, few people and 45 kilometers of beachs...Wonderful place to be in Summer...there are some cities near, with good night club parties (with good trance music, no samba, axe or pagode shit like you imagine), and of course, beautiful women with little clothes, cuz it's very hot...

Nice car yes! I was in Brazil last week, there's so many VW types I've never seen before, amazing!
So i take it this has an 2.0 liter motor? 8v? Same engine as our 8v's?

yeah, the same one, but with Magneti Marelli fuel injection...with 144mm rods...it's a little harsh in high rpms...not cross-flow...

not like that smooth one, with 159mm rods...

The engines are the same, we have the old family, used in Gol and Santana, with 1595cm3, 1.781cm3 and 1.984cm3...

Hmm interesting!
I had a peek inside a Santana and it looked very luxurious!
