Hello boys and girls I need some help for a friend who wants to run 18 – 9.5 inch wheels on his mk4 Golf and is unsure what tyre size he can get away with as he is worried if he ran 245/40 rubber that there would not be enough clearance inside the arch ???

He is also running FK coilovers at –55mm and the offset of the wheels ET 30

Any help greatly appreciated :D :D

that's true, you might have to run 245/35/18 and he might get away with it..I'm running 235/40/18 on my 18X9's and no rubbing at all.. ;)

Cheers for that its got me thinking that I should have 18x10'S on the back to really fill the arches.

Maybe you can make better burnouts with those wheels

Well I may buy a new clutch before then and then that would be a good bedding in route to take.

Plus I will be getting space savers on the front to really make some holes !!!!

Ya bastard anyway I still hold the wall title BOY !!!!
