I'm hunting all over the web for some Bumpers for sale.
Otherwise I was planning to shape some up and make carbon skins.
But a real set would be ideal. even damaged ones,

I had a friend in London bid and win the rear bumper.
So now It's just the front one to locate and I should have a Rallye to build.
are all of these yours? i LOVE the mk1... and you must love white..
I've had 2 black also too... see the mk2 owners thread.
I've sold the jetta so it's just the Rallye replica and the MK1.
never selling that!
Nice cars man !!! Where did you buy the rallye kit from ?

Nice project!
What have you done to the raingutters?
That is what you see when you remove the rubber.
Been chipping away and it's at about 90%
then should be time for paint...

it was the right direction?
Yes it all led back to ebay but the timing was great!
I hadn't seen a bumper on ebay for 12 months and then 4 appeared!
I've been driving the Rallye around for 2 months now.
It's awesome! I'm only running a stock AGU with a chipped ECU
It has plenty of power for a daily.
Thanks to all those who helped!

It's just in primer. I wanted to road test it incase the fiberglass bubbles or cracks.
Paint will be next.

Mk1 looks very nice aswell! What kind of BHP does the engine in the Rallye give you? Or hasn't it seen a dyno yet?
The rallye engine is a stock AGU with a superchip, downpipe and fmic
I haven't dyno'd but around the 180 mark???
The airbox in the mk1 was a piece of foam I pushed over the itb's cut out the holes and then I used cardboard tube to make the shape. wrapped in sign vinyl and then I just fiberglass'd over all of that and soaked it in water and picked out the card and foam;
pretty rough as It was all done in a hurry. I'm going to make a gucci carbon version next.
