Hi guys,

can anyone tell me what should I do to change a fuel pump? Is there anything 'tricky' I should be aware like some kind of fluid that I must place in the gasket or the position I set the camshaft?

thanks

Nope, nothing Tricky.

And no fluid to correctly seal the gasket?

Thanks for the help again :)

A new gasket should do the job. (Mostly included with the new fuelpump)
Or you can use some silicone gasket. (don't use to much)

Not yet, the new fuel pump is working, but something wrong to the fuel tank (or the hose or in the fuel tank itself).
I installed the new pump and nothing... then I got a 5meter 0.6mm hose and connected to the pump and the other side to a tank outside, and the pump pulls the petrol.
(that's strange because you could suck some petrol from the hose, I thought that the pump was to weak, maybe the old pump was fine :( )

Today or tomorrow I will install a new contact set, it's the only thing that I haven't replaced in the ignition (that and the ignition, I've been crossing wires to start the engine, or try to :) )
