Default My Brasilian Santana

Here are some pics of my everyday car.....
It is a 1995 Santana 1.8 (Brasilian model) with only 34680 km.....

It's the simplier model but I like it....

Wow, Brasilian invasion at the forum (which is positive, though)

Welcome, welcome

Cool ride you have, but a bit high though. Looks like 4WD (just like my Jetta) this way. Plans to drop it down a bit?

I like the old Santana better!

And I agree with Redjet, it needs to be a lot closer to the ground.

Is it just as comfortable as an old Santana? I still miss the seats in my Santan plus the space!

Well.... I have always planed to drop it down, but there are some problems that make this a little bit hard to do.... for example the streets that I pass every day, they look like the moon surface....
But I've done some Virtual Tuning and the result would be nice (at least for me...):

Well... for me it is really confortable, but compared to the old one I can't really tell you (my uncle had one, but I don't remember it very well)....
But in general, they are all very confortable.... in special the 1993 "Sport" model, that came with "Recaro" seats....

If you want to see more about it.... check this links out:

Usually if they steal just accessories (wheels, sound.. etc), the car is abandoned. In my case the car is a parts donator... so, no hope at all. And now it is too late..... if they find the car, the insurance company will take it....

But, just as my friends said, it's just a car.... I'm still alive and healthy. And life goes on.....

I was thinking about buying a GLS 2door model..... it have the luxuary of a family car, and at the same time has a Sport spirit... maybe like this one:

1989 GLS 2 door 2.0 alcohol..... one of the best brasilian santanas ever made.....

Just need to see if it is in good shape....

The "oficial" horsepower is 82kW (112 cv) at 5200 RPM, but some of this engines came with the 049G camshaft (268º), that makes the car a little bit more powerfull..... and there's also the second stage of 3E, that makes the car almost FLY....
