Inlet Size of 16v

Hey, I have a 1992 GTi 8v with a 16v exhaust. What is the inlet size of the exhaust on the 16v? I wanna put a nice muffler on.

Also want recommendations for mufflers.

they were all either 50mm or 55mm. more than likely it is a 50mm (2") cat outlet. put your money into a 2.25" complete cat-back system from TechTonics.
