This photo was taken at GTI International when it was at the Transport Research Laboratory in England... The show hasn't been there for about 7 years, so it's an old photo.

I have helped building the PVW golf, only thing i know right now is that it is used on trackdays.heard that from Elliot.
Elliot owns a Rallye again now and they are putting in a R32 engine right now.

Number 7 in the first post looks to be from Portugal based on the 'plate.
I also googled Auto Jardin de Maia, it's a Portugese body shop I think.

Seems to be a picture from Ultimate Dubs 2006 (Birmingham). There are a couple more pictures of it in this gallery. First search result in Google on "rallye big 5vt" shows it's owned by a certain Janet Chambers (hence the interior colour, I suppose), member of UK Rallye Golf Club. I guess it's British, then.

That's a Portugese plate. Has been for sale in 2006, may still be. Seller can be contacted from that website.

USA, Fast Enough Performance. Car is also shown on the website. Also check the gallery, another one in red with an early Jetta 2 grille...

-edit-

This one is already mentioned in the US listing, # 002. Not sure if the red one is already mentioned.

Due to several comments on the fact that the Car's VIN was registered on a public website, we decided to delete these from the register. If anyone is interested in the history of their Rallye, please send me a PM with the VIN and I will track it down in my own database. All PM's regarding VIN's will be handled with privacy.

I think the Green Rallye in picture 2 is this one! chassis 1GZKB123735 engine number 1H 002490

I have its old service book which i obtained when i bought a Rallye supplement book for my car, it was "killed" in the UK about 8 years ago

its previous overseas registration was S0-AV 420 it came from Busch VW dealers in Lippstadt Germany

Yes, i bought the (German) Rallye booklet from ebay uk, and when it arrived it was still in its original grey service wallet along with the original service book for that car, the previous owner sold me the books and told me about the demise of his Rallye in a big accident
