Default Tjaap asked for updates...

Ok I guess Ill feed ya a few now

This was ohhhh...November or so

Some cleanin a few weeks later...

The direction the interior went Im rewiring EVERYTHING since it was kinda iffy and a pain to work under the dash. Plus I was cleanin and hiding the wiring harness and such so this made it easier.

After cleaning the engine bay junk out. I used a truck bedliner when I first put the 20v in...But I decided to go smooth and blue lagoon...Same deal with the block and tranny

The rear seat FINALLY recovered along with the parcel shelf

And the door panels cut and built to clear the B4 Passat Dash.

Polished the sunroof rails even while I had nothing to do Teeheehee

Brandy new carpet with dynamat sound/heat insulation and extra carpet padding to MAKE the carpet sit flat and smooth (and be nice and cushy)

Fresh alcantra wrapped headliner FINALLY came back from the interior guy

And theres ALL of the wiring for the engine bay And I do mean all of it Hahahaa. Now just to find a polished or non-Yellowing water bottle. Hmmm.

So thats where it sits at the moment. Motors not together either. Still workin on another build up and ALOT of cleaning. Ill take pics as I go there too

Thanks guys Sad part is this isnt really my project car...Its the daily driver Wheels will be staying but Im waiting for some spare parts to show up from Keskin then they go out to have teh lips polished and most likely have the centers sprayed Gold to kind of match the interior.

This is the most recent shot I have of the dash...But the guages will be moving (Boost and Aif/fuel in pods over the drivers speaker grille and oil pressure and hopefully a water/oil temp Spa guage in place of the ashtray) and the Momo wheel is on its way to replace the trashed Passat wheel.

With any luck the car will be complete by the end of April and the end of "Project Frankenstein" will come. Then I can begin the new project..."The Bride" Hahaa. What can I say? A Mk2 with a 1.9L 20v Lysholm to spin 9000 RPM with a Syncro sounds like fun. Maybe I can break the 450 wheel horsepower mark with that car
