VW Days - The Campus Edition

Last weekend the boys and girls from Golf Club IDF organised their annual weekend event VW Days. For us it was the first time we visited this show, so we didn’t know what to expect, we only knew the story’s from other dubbers. So time to find it out ourselfs. With 11 other Dubnutterz from different clubs we drove off to Seraucourt-Le-Grand, a small village 140km above Paris. Ilce helpt us with booking the hotel and some other things, so we were in good hands. The hotel was full of other Dubnutz from Austria, Germany and England, so it was a great get together in the evening. We attended the show saturday and sunday. Saturday was selectionday for the Show and Shine and Sunday was Judgementday About 5000 visitors (according to the organisation) attend this show and that was absolutly visible, as far as you could look, the only thing you saw was camping, camping, camping and ….. The airfield was a huge campingsite and most visitors used bikes to move from one site to the other site. The atmosphere was relax and very friendly.

The show is excellent but somehow completly different to other shows in Europe and that is what I like about VW Days, so we will be back in 2013, that’s for sure.
