dashboard mats/covers in Europe?

Does anybody know a source for dashboard covers/mats, especially for the Passat 32b dashboard, in Europe?

These covers, pre-formed to cover the whole upper part of the dashboard, are quite popular in the "sunbelt states" in the US, but cracks due to UV light are not restricted to the US and occur over here as well.

There are some US vendors on amazon.com, but they only ship inside the US. I found a seller on ebay selling this stuff and shipping it to Europe:

Total cost for such a thing including shipment to Europe will be around 80 EUR (not including import tax).

Does anyone know a seller or manufacturer who sells dashboard covers/mats custom made for Passat 32b (1982) in Europe?

i was gonna suggest Ebay, but you already found that.
I think most upholsterers will be able to make you one, but probably not for that price.
Or maybe try a company that makes custom floormats as the material is very similar.

I know a lady who could do this job - she makes custom covers for scooter seats and custom car interiors. Problem in this case is taking the measurements - she lives far away and she just has a Passat 32, not a 32b.

So even if the US dash covers are a bit costly I think I will order one there. Swapping a dashboard means one or two weekends of labour and I do not want to do this once more in the future.

OK, next time I ll let you do the work ... I think you are really fast. I did not need the whole weekend but a significant part of two saturday afternoon.

Anyhow, it is a job which does not have to be repeated more often than necessary so I will get me a dash cover.
