Hi, i got my first air-cooled back in September 2012 and wasn't planning doing much at first just wanted to get driving it but after taking a few parts out noticed it needed a lot more work. So its turned into a full body off resto. hope you like what I've got up to soo far.
Its a 1960 Beetle with a 1600 Twin-port.

Thank you, It looks a lot more solid than it is. I'm doing a body of resto, i started another forum when i first started the resto in September so this thread is a bit behind. ill try get it up to date. here some more photos of what ive been up to :)

I know a fair bit of work but will be worth it when its done.
I've seen better, I've seen worse. Looks like the girl had a rough life but luckily it's all fixable. Good luck!

Thanks :) luckily my dad is a welder so he has helped me with the rust, ill get some pics uploaded tonight.
Any updates on this puppy?
