Great bus! Not interested.. but, is the engineconversion also done in the papers? This will be an important thing to get it on the (for example; dutch) road.

in France no homologuation possible :(

in VW nobody drive with any homologuation because we are not authorized to make it... so pratically all the VW are out of law... sniff

Hey Fred !!

What a shame that you've got to let go this SO911, but then again I'm sure that you'll find another interesting project ;)

We have a trick to get it onto a 6-cilinder VW registration .. we "simply" ship it to England, put a vehickle approvement
and MOT on it, and then re-imported into Holland .. due to Europeaan regulations, a car that has a legal (in your case
a flat 6-cilinder Porsche engine) English registration, can't be rejected for a dutch license plate :D

I think that France has a similair "set-up" for re-importing a -modified- car as well ;) :D

Here's your link from Franklins (http://www.franklinsvwwerks.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3281) ;)
