yeh pretty much, my dad brought me an Asterix & Obelix album in Afrikaans when he was on business there. we can understand most words, if not, i just read it out loud.

it kinda sounds like a non-dutch guy trying to speak dutch :p

yeh you can speak Afrikaner all you want, but please do so in the Dutch section, cause the dutch guys will understand but most other international members won't
