so i had a digi for a day, and it was nice out so i decided to go for a drive.
my startingpoint was my school. it's in one of the oldest parts of rotterdam. It used to be very neglected but eversince they fixed up this old harbor for pre 1900 boats the neighbourhood is getting really nice

after that i went over the river Maas, which splits up the city in 2 and also makes for Rotterdam being the biggest harbor in the world.
Rotterdam was bombed by mistake in WW2 by the allied forces, so it has a weird combination of old and new argitecture. next pics were made on the southbank, overseeing the centre of the city

after that i went to the old neglected harbors.. i love that part of the city. it's not pretty but those old neglected buildings make me warm and fuzzy inside

After i cruised down town i took off to the better hoods of Rotterdam (Kralingen) cause they have a beautifull park
nect 2 pics were made in the parc. Cars aren't allowed there, but hey. i was making a documentary for the Volksforum.com :P

but all good things come to an end, and i decided it was time to go back to my own neighbourhood. Lets just say NOT THE NICEST "hood" of the city.

actually the hood is not as bad as i wanted this pic to suggest.. these buildings will be broken down, but the people living there won't move.. so they started tearing down the rest of the block as a preassuring device.... it's been like this for the entire 3 years i've ben living here though...
hope you liked my tour of the city, don't forget to tip the driver when you step of the bus  :P (btw. all pics are clickable for high res)
