isuzu? :D
It is (or was?) a Chevrolet Cavalier 2-door Coupe, early 90s vintage. The curved bottom of the rear side window line gives it away.

Yes, also the doorhandles en locks are identical
is says isuzu on the back, but since isuzu is GM too it sure is the isuzu clone of the ascona/cavalier and some Holden..
it also says pontiac transport on the back and (ford) Explorer

Yeah, it's the same chassis, the GM J-car. It included the Opel Ascona, Chervolet Cavalier, Cadillac Cimarron, Isuzu Aska and quite a few more versions as well, such as Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Holden, Vauxhall and probably a couple of others I cant think of.
My first thought was a Honda accord, but after some research that wasn't it, also no Nissan.
Searched for the Isuzu aska on Google, but didn't find any model that looks a little like this

That is because the Isuzu Aska wasnt made in the Coupe bodystyle. As far as I can remember, only a few of the US models were made in this body style, the Chevy and maybe the Olds and Pontiac. This American Coupe bodystyle was introduced after the Ascona was taken out of production.
This Isuzu is the same car, but it was only made as a 4-door. You can see that the design of the doors is identical to an Ascona C.

It's funny that you mention the Honda Accord though, as the last version of the Isuzu Aska was a rebadged version of the Honda Accord. There was also a Subaru Legacy rebadged as an Isuzu Aska, and this was the Aska generation between the GM J-car and the Accord version.

That's a whole lot of uninteresting information you're giving there
is it me, or is that Isuzu quite a good looking car?

I think it is a very, very good interpretation of BMW's E92, the new 3-series Coupé:
http://img423.imageshack.us/img423/5897/3coupe37oh.jpg
Rear window, door handles, mirrors, front wheel position, "BMW known for" carbon roof, the side (smoothed out) body line, the A-pillar/bonnet connection, hidden Z3 headlights (http://hpbimg.autobarthobraat.nl/UUUUUUUUUUU.JPG)...
The pillar is on the other side of the velvet ropes, but I see some kidneys and I would not be surprised if it was a BMW line-up... This Honda is getting kinda close though...

Me too. Not hard to find out where you have your wisdom from. I did not realise the 3-series Coupé and 6-series were so much proportioned alike! Your call to pull back the curtain.

the coupe of that is my favourite custom of all times... oh btw. mine's a Fisker, designed by an Aston designer

Well... Better than an Ascona, that's for sure!
