It`s never delivered here that way. The RDW must test the complete car to give you a licence.

One exception : build it and get a MOT in the UK on it after its registred there .
Then import it again and they have to give u the papers coz it was legalised in another Euro country ;)

That`s true,they did it the same way with the ugly duck (Citroen 2CV) with the V8 in it.That car is driven daily in and around The Haque by a school teacher..:D

true, you can get an SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) in the UK.
it's kinda like rdw, but not as tough.. my school is going to register our kitcars like that.

import the kit from UK, built it here, take it to the UK for SVA, import it back once again :biggrin:

the SVA is tough though!

It ain't that simple to get the car through, big difference between 'nl and uk' is that a rear-wheel-drive polo would never get through the RDW's SVA in the netherlands, because they don't do SVA's,...
