Volkswagen’s nationwide network of dedicated Van Centres (http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/van-centres/search-for-local-van-centre/) has expanded again following the official opening of a new Van Centre in Chelmsford, Essex. The standalone site offers the full range of new and used vans and people carriers from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/), plus a fully equipped workshop and parts service.
The new Volkswagen Van Centre Chelmsford is owned and operated by Inchcape Retail and represents an investment of £1.4 million, with the good news that it has already created 12 new jobs with another eight roles expected by the end of next year.
This is the third Volkswagen Van Centre operated by Inchcape Retail, which also has facilities in Manchester and Cheltenham, and reflects the confidence Inchcape has in the future of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand.
To provide the highest levels of customer service, two of the seven ramps in the workshop are Class 4 MOT ramps, while there is space for four vehicles in the showroom, plus a comprehensive fleet of eight demonstrator vehicles available.
