Hi everyone, I've been meaning to join this site for a while.

Anyhow, I'm a 26 year old mechanic from Ontario, Canada... been a Bug nut since the day I was born, currently own:

'66 Beetle 1300, original paint, 6v electrical system, etc (Driver)
'68 Beetle - Work in progress. Currently doing a body-off resto
'69 Beetle - Parts car
'71 Super Beetle - California car, next in line for resto
'71 Super Beetle - Parts car
'72 Baja Champion SE - In storage
'72 Super Beetle - Needs paint, but restored otherwise
'73 Super Beetle - Driver
'73 Cabrio - Driver
'74 Sun Bug - Will probably get around to finishing it this summer
'74 Super -Girlfriend wants me to restore it for her
'75 La Grande Bug - In storage, waiting for love
'84 Rabbit Cabrio w/Zender kit - Driver
'99 New Beetle TDI - Driver.

I've been a Beetle nut literally since I could talk, I was born in a blue '73, and cried the day my dad sold it (when I was 3). In grade 1 at age 6, the ravenna green '74 Beetle across the road from my school (that I used to stare at during recess), had a for sale sign on it, so I pretended I wasn't feeling well so I could call my dad and tell him it was for sale... 20 years later he still has the car, too.
