I pulled a pic off of here a few months back, of 6 MK1 VW's driving around a corner in line, black and white photo.

There are 3 Rabbit/Golfs, 1 Scirocco and 1 Dasher and Derby.

Anyone have this pic?! :(

Ah.. mm.

1 scirocco => CHECK
1 dasher (or Passat on this continent) => CHECK
1 derby = CHECK

3 rabbits/golfs -> I only see one!
and you totally missed the Polo..

Your brain must've been washed or summtin' :)

This must be the lineup from the 1980 model year. Big bumper Golf was introduced in 1980, but Polo/Derby didnt get them until 1981. Same thing with Jetta, it came out in 81. Too bad there is no Passat wagon there, it's the only one "missing"

Pic is from modelyear 1979, cause from august '79 onwards the polo/derby already had big bumpers....

Oh and it says so in the booklet that I scanned it from :D

Golf still had small bumpers for the 1979 model year, 1980 was the first for the big plastic bumpers. 1980 also had small tail lights and old dash, so it's aunique model. Of course, this picture could have been taken in the fall of 79, when VW released the 80-models.
