vandaag toch nog wat gedaan,ben begonnen met het verstevigen van de voorkant.Helaas hed ik te weinig buis om dit af te maken,morgen beter.



Ook het dashboard aangekleed om te kijken of ik de schakelaars voor de ontsteking en de brandstofpomp er ook nog kwijt kan.

mounted the tank and fuelpump this week,





the tank holds 1 gallon which is 3,7 liter.

also, i welded a towhook to the rollbar, in case it ever needs towing

this will pertrude the windscreen.

That coppercolored thing on the frontaxle is the fuelpump i presume?? :)

are you gonna do a plexglass windscreen?

It's been a while but I'm still working on the car. Searching for parts consumes a lot of time and changing my mind every day doesn't help either ;)
But I decided to ditch the renault gearbox and put a 091 in. Got a lead on a really good one ;D ;D.
I'm also going efi so I bought an IC and have to make a new intake and exhaust so why not make everything a little bigger and get a bigger turbo.

Sold all the draw through stuff so there is no turning back now ;D

Took some time to take some pictures from the modifications Jim made.


Some people pointed to me that the front didn't have enough tubes so I had Jim add some more.


I think it is safe now.
Fitted a vertigate shifter,


Down pipe almost ready,

Put the twin fuel pumps in yesterday.








Mow all that I need is a fuel pressure regulator and this little project is finished

been trying to work o the car again after been sick for a few months.





Started on the aly panelling

finished plumbing the front side of the car





And all the aluminium is done up front,



Finally gave my shop a good clean up ;D





Now it's of to the volksworldshow at the end of the month and pick up a pile of stuff to get it closer to completion.

Due to the cage I can't fit the rods from the MSE in a straight line. I asked Jim Smith how to solve this problem and he gave me some info in to the right direction. Thanks Jim ;D







When the gearbox is in I will make rods with uniballs going from the pivot to the gearbox

Been putting in some late hours last week as I got my gearbox now. First thing to do is make it shift,due to the funny car cage I had to make a pivot to re align the rods.



It looks like it will work all I need now is the "forks" that attach to the gearbox.
I then started working on the Co2 launcher.
That's mostly done also.



finally I put my tires on the new rims.
