yeah i know, but the idea of driving 1.5 hrs in a car with NO INSURANCE & that I really havent road tested or tuned ...... not to mention all the things that still remain to be finished.............. sheit man, I just want to get my hands clean working on this myself :D

in case anyone was wondering...... the cheap door chrome trim they sell in auto part shops does in fact fit happich pop-outs just fine.............

the chrome trim I was able to get at my local Pep Boys has a bead of adhesive right down the middle of it..... thats really it Steve-O :)

Syncrometer is packaged and will go out with tomorrows mail.


Place over one of the two Velocity stacks from each carb. take your measurement. now place over one of the VS from the other carb. adjust the linkage so the measurments are the same. don't worry about pulling measurements from both VS on the same carb at this point.


Now set your ignition timing. around 900 rpms set your timing to 8* advance.
done.


we can go over the actual carb tuning once this is done. These are the most important things first.

And get a temp gauge hooked up. most important of all.
