My Gti

Here is my 84 Rabbit GTI.....

Golf_1_gts 23-05-2007 17:14

Sweet, I like it. Looks so different comparing with an European one...

dekilo 23-05-2007 17:54

Super car!!
I would love to have one of those!
Want to trade with my 83 GTI?
only remark is the lead on the outer rings of the rim.

Tjaap 23-05-2007 18:09

so fresh and so clean, clean..

Sander 23-05-2007 20:01

Nice clean ride,

@Tjaap is that front standard US? Thankfully european bumpers are different...

Tjaap 23-05-2007 20:29

yeh it's the weird US crash laws that give cars ther weird looing bumpers (ever looked at US market 70's and 80's Saab's? they must be able to withstand a crash upro 5 mile an hour without damage.. (atleast that was what i was told, but i'm sure the OP can explain better)

Edition-Blue 23-05-2007 21:04

Nice Car !!!

Road Boss 23-05-2007 23:43

Thanks! Everyone tells me to take them off and put euro on but, it is a westmooreland car and I'm just trying to keep it like that. A lot of people are turning their 83 and 84 Westmooreland cars into euro cars. I love to be different!

Berserker 24-05-2007 08:05

Yes and here everyone would like to have the Westmorelandfront...

Still looks like a great car, especially because its white :woowoo:

Melvin 24-05-2007 08:16

indeed, looks great and original, always a good thing!

Road Boss 29-05-2010 02:09

Thanks! You are not the only one that said that. I wish those wheels had a staggered setup.

otti 29-05-2010 19:48

Well I finally got the spacers sorted out on this car. Well I have 5mm up front and 13mm in the rear. No rubbing at all and I can still add more if I choose.
