i need to raise the back to balance the weight of the engine.
and the front can come down some.
Gearbox is ready to be fitted next tuesday

Fitted the engine, so now it's time to finish things up..

Got the engine running.
lots has happened but i didn't have time to update.

finished the electrics and fuelsystem
got my last brake-parts in on monday so i finished that and now it needs an alignment

oh and i FITTED THE SLICKS!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't update the topic, but that doesn't mean nothing happened. the car was totally taken apart for it's 2008 update.
At the moment i'm working on narrowing the rear beam to fit the slicks without the wide fenders


And the engine is getting a Turbo next season.

radical update....., last saturday i bought a 54 body. already prepped for paint, so just paint it and fit it..

De koets is intussen naar de oudijzerboer en ik ben druk bezig met het onderstel.

De kooi is aangepast en ook de pook is veranderd en nu in de tunnel geplaatst net als een originele pook.






de achter ophanging heb ik zes centimeter per kant ingekort zodat ik met originele achterschermen kan rijden.D verbrede heb ik intusen gesloopt.

nee als ik volgende week terug ben van vakantie ga ik mijn oval koets passen dus dat komt wel goed.

gister weer aardig wat details afgewerkt zoals het aflassen van de torsiebuis en de scharnierpunten voor de irs




Nu alleen nog een nieuwe oplossing vinden voor de bovenste bevestiging van de achterschokbrekers en dan ga ik de koets ophalen en aanpassen

Hoe moet dat nu met de motorkap en je slotplaat (stuk wat tussen je achterschermen eigenlijk hoort te zitten, heet dat zo?). Aangezien daar een groot stuk mist, vastbouten zodat je makkelijker bij de motor kan?

En staat dit op kenteken, mis je dan geen schutbord/firewall?

Hehe, ik denk dat deze auto niet voor op de weg bedoeld is ;)
Achterpanser zal er, denk ik, niet op komen. Evenals de motorklep :)

pantser wordt tussen de schermen vastgeschroefd en achterklep gaat niet passen vanwege de turbo en de holley 4 barrel die achter voor het luchtrooster komen te hangen

Van de week ook de deuren erin gehangen.Al snel kwam ik tot de ontdekking dat de deuren tegen de rolkooi aan komen(ovaal deuren zijn dikker dan mexico deuren).
Dus na wat overwegingen besloten de deuren aan te passen aan de kooi omdat ik aan de kooi niets meer kan veranderen.









Het is op de foto's niet goed te zien maar het plaatwerk dat ik er in gelast heb ligt bijna een centimeter lager dan de rest van het plaatwerk,dit maakt het voor mij een stuk moeilijker om te fabriceren.
