My 1979 VW Passat B1 in Australia
 

Hi there,

This is my car, his name is Frank:
















I got him in December 2008, looking a bit worse for wear:




He's undergone a lot of work since then. The top photos were taken last month at our annual VW club show. It took a lot of coordination to get so many B1s together, it was the first time in years :)

I also have a website for B1s, which has a million photos about the restoration of my car. And I am looking for more B1s for a B1 calendar. I have had one printed for 2013 that features B1s around the world. Now I am searching for more cars for the 2014 edition. If you're interested, the details are on my website :)

On the first pics i see you have a well known neighbour as well, the Kamei-Golf!

Yeah the Kamei Golf is our race car :)













We just had our annual big VW show, and had three B1s come to it, which was cool. The photos I posted earlier were from last year's show, we had a record breaking 7 B1s attend then :)

I have a B1 website for B1 owners and fans , if you're interested. Just finished creating and having a new B1 wall calendar printed, and now I'm on the hunt for more B1s for the next calendar in 2015.
