Just figured Id drop the bomb here and show you some of my pics. Wanted to come in to the nice warm welcome you guys had to offer.

This is what I use to have.

it got burned insurance considered it totalled so I picked this 87 GTi up, bought the Audi back from insurance, sold the parts, and am dropping in the 1.8t AWP motor into this project im working on as we speak.

are ya only using the engine/gearbox of the AWP or have ya taken the dash with the speedo, further interior like seats...?

I sold the seats, dash, most of the interior parts EXCEPT for the convertible top, a BRAND NEW heater controls and a semi used Audi TT Bose Head Unit w/ the 4speakers, 2 tweeters, and a sub that Im planning to drop into the golf after I finish the swap. Right now im working on the body still.

not as much sex on the outside, but post-swap - that golf is gonna be teh sex to drive i'm sure! :cool:
