lol, so that's danish... i've seen the movie before, but i thought they sounded more towards the east, hungarian or something

That's what I thought at first as well, until i saw .dk on the screen. Then I had to rewind to hear him talk again, but he was still a bit hard to understand. Got some funny dialect going, or something...

if you read it it is almost norwegian but if you hear it it is totally different

True, the written Norwegian language is largely based on Danish, because Norway and Denmark was in a union (read: Denmark occupied Norway) from 1660 to 1814. That's why we have their written language, but with our own way of talking it. 100 years ago, you could hardly see the difference between the written Norwegian vs. written Danish.
