how was it, all i read was way too much rain, and a small turnout because of it..

I think I'm now falling in love with Mk1 Rabbits :eek:

It was really cool. I did not camp (7 month old with me) but the show itself was fun. 54 cars is the most MK1's ive seen in one spot since the 80's around here. I know there were more scheduled to be there, but schedule conflicts and weather kept them away. Hopefully more will show next year.

I cant wait to see the turn out at VW Cult classic..

Just posted about the 09 show.

Well, as this was the first time for this and the rain we actually had a great turnout. Next year should be bigger and better. Can't beat the spot, cheap camping, fires allowed, Scotts BBQ skills, onsite bar to keep the drunk driving down, karaoke at the bar, 1/4 mle dragstrip across the street and amazing back roads for driving fun.

I wish I could have made it...I was busy at work. I guess I'm gonna miss all the east coast events for the next 3 year because I'm living in So Cal for now. :(
