Bought a new daily driver, 1989 Audi 200 Tq Avant
 

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, but I like old cars, and I like sorting out problems they may have, no matter how complex the problems might be.

That's why I bought an Audi 200. This old lady has problems with start and idle, and also a few other things here and there that needs to be mended... :screwy: :D

Great car, if it works properly! This one is a beater, and as such, has some issues that I need to fix.

First, the engine can't hold an idle, and has a slight problem with starting after it dies. Even though it's a simple K-jet system, there are a lot of electronics involved, and finding the problem can take some time (and money).

Second, the transmission sounds like it's dry, but the filler plug is fucked up, meaning I can't get it out to change gear oil. Third, I need to look after the brakes. The rear discs are very rusted, also a few of the lines must be replaced because of rust.
