Edward 02-12-2004 21:29

Hi there, welcome.

I looks really nice for a first attempt, it seems that you spent some big money. What color did they use on your car? Silver grey with special mica added? When I take a good look at your mirror, it seems the effect goes from purple to green I guess. The rear lights fit really good with the rest of the car....keep up the good work!

Jurgen Santana 02-12-2004 22:13

LOL Thats my other veedub!

Tjaap, you were soooooo right, glad i took your advise!

The Paint itself is a colour called Liquid Silver, made by Standox. Paid £495 a litre for it so it better be good! I believe that the way it is painted is you have a standard silver base coat, then the liquid silver pearlescent, then obviously the laquer and harners...well i think thats how it was done. Spent a fortune on the car.....not a cheque book car before anyone says all paid for by hard working money :p

The list of the car and its modifications goes a bit like this:-
