My name is Diyas, i'm 27... i'm from Astana, Kazakhstan.

Aslo in my hobbies are hip-hop music, basketball etc.

I was came here to find interesting cars, that could be featured at my blog. Not long ago, we made a feature for one guy from Holland, and one from USA.
I found them at vortex.

my car is Volkswagen Golf Mk3 GTI 16v, 5 years of ownership.

Welcome! Is the VW scene big in Kazakstan?

Truly... there is no vw-scene as like it is in US or NL.
there is no enthusiasts who really loves his car.
For example, most of local VW Golf 3 Club members, are riding on Golf mk3 only in view that this car is not expensive. And when someone grab some money.... he will switch the car to another one. most popular Mercedes W210, BMW E39, Lexus GS300 etc... E-class cars.

The car-culture at all is very poor... no car-shows for enthusiasts where you can show your car (as like as Worthersee i mean).

another big problem.... it's a money. average salary in Kazakhstan is around $500. so it's not easy to upgrade your car in this situation. (((
In general... there is a big difference between peoples who got money (rich), and who is not, and no average class (very small)... who will be between of it.

Riches riding on expansive cars, and SUV's are very popular... as like as Lexus LX570, Mercedes G500, Range Rover etc... we got only three Golf MK5 R32 in the county ((

That is the reason why most of my friends are from Russia... where vw-culture is rising now. There was an VW Festival 4th time will be in this year (each year).
