i finished this about 7 years back when i was 17, but it was the last one i ever made so far. (i got into VW's after that :p)

based on the old Italeri kit for the DAF 95 Spacecab.

i replaced the roof for a low version made out of plastic sheet, the double rear axle was removed and a second steering axle was placed, and the complete wrecking kit was also made out of plastic sheet.
both steering axle's were fitted with wider tyres. the red paint is sprayed, the other parts were hand painted. interior was covered in blue fabric with roadmaps on the passenger seat and a sleeping bag and pillow on the bed, and offcourse the pornograhic poster against the back wall :tongue:

I modelled it after my fav truck from a well known dutch company

it's dusty as hell but it has been standing in my showcase for the last 7 years :D
oh yeh, it was also the only model that won me a price in a national show for contenders under 21.

I expected to see one with decals of Rutten Transport or WelSi or something ;)

I like the OZ turbo's they are displayed on...

i have 3 of Rutten and 2 of welsi, but they're all in the offices of the respective companies.
