Does the 2E use 159mm pistons like the ABA? Id be extremely surprised if the head wouldn't match up (even the 20v head fits early blocks) Double check the piston wristpin size in the rod before buying pistons...The 159mm rod motors use a 20mm wristpin and most other Pre-Mk4 motors use a 22mm wrist pin.
