Not the best example of a "car" (I don't consider FIAT a car...), but I think that it's enough to known the technology...
Well, my sister is dating for a long time now (she is 4 y/older than me) and just uses the car at night to visit her boyfriend... so it'll be one heck of a good fight... hehehe

I was trying to find a mint condition Gol GT 1986, but it's almost impossible to find one below $5000, so I'll have to wait 'till I've a job and then think about it.

Do the Polos over there come with airbags ?
I've seen the YouTube movie on the Fox from Brazil vs Europe, so unfair when multinational companies take these life saving technology out of cars
ps I would love a Gol even though they are old in architecture terms

I know Honda's don't match well with VW in Europe and USA, but here in Brazil both company compete mostly in different sectors. The only real "dog-fight" is between Golf "4,5" GTi and Civic Si (and I prefer the Si, at least it's not an older version with little design mods!!).
About the Polo, air-bag and ABS are optional and you would have to wait about 2 months to have one with this config (my neighbour asked for one before me and is still waiting). Brazilians really don't mind about security (unfortunately), but I hope someday this will change...
