Ron's VR6 "thunderbunny" was for sale a few weeks ago here on craigslist in the PNW. Add has been flagged, though here is what it basicly said:


"Yes, this is it, the original Thunder Bunny. Built by Ron’s Parts Inc in Vancouver, BC, in 1995, it was the world’s first VR6 Volkswagen Rabbit. 14 years later, this car is still provides legendary thrills and it has just received a thorough overhaul/refurb. It was featured in European Car and a few other magazines from 1995-1997. I’ve owned a Skyline GT-R among other sports cars, but this car is more enjoyable to drive, delivers more giggles, and turns more heads with its sweet engine sound than anything I’ve driven…997 Porsche GT3 included. Although the VW R32’s are nice, this car is everything those should have been. It literally defines the term “immediate gratification.” Small, light, powerful, big brakes…anything you do in this car, it does it without hesitation and with an immediacy that makes virtually all other cars feel dull. I hate to part with it, but I’ve owned it for 6 years and I have a new car being delivered soon. I will miss this car dearly."
