i didn't even look at the dutch price but the german..
base prices, it's already more expensive than a passat variant to begin with

Up here, the price is directly below the market leader in this segment, the Toyota Rav-4. Only problem I've heard is that there is already up to 8 months wait for a car built to your preferred specs.
