Default welke olie mk1 diesel

Wat zijn de specificaties van vw voor de olie van een mk1 diesel? Als ik ga googlen kom ik zo veel tegenstrijdigheden tegen.

Ja het lijkt mij ook dat er 10w40 of 15w40 in moet, maar ik was benieuwd wat Volkswagen voorschreef voor deze blokjes. Kan iemand dat nog achterhalen?

Van Olving's vraagbaak word je niet veel wijzer. Er is sprake van "API-spec. CC of CD", en er staat een tabelletje bij waarin alle soorten olie aan bod komen, afhankelijk van het klimaat: SAE 10W t/m 40W, maar ook 10W-30 t/m 20W-50.

De diesels van mijn vader, mk1 en later mk2, kregen destijds 15w40.

Vooral wanneer ze wat op leeftijd zijn en de nodige ervaring hebben lopen ze mooier op 15w.

Maakt niet zoveel of t 10of15w is. De olie van tegenwoordig is al veel beter dan dat zon blokje vroeger kreeg

20w50 lijkt me wel erg dik. Maar dan gaan we voor de 10 of 15W. Bedankt iedereen!
