Audi 5 cylinder 20v engines in transversal position...in the Golf 1,2,3 ? Has anyone seen this strange swap ????

It will be great thing under the hood of Golf 3 instead of 16valver but ABF is nice engine though..:D :D :D

But aftermarket options are very few....

There's a Golf1 around here somewhere that has a 5 cyl transversally mounted...

I cant understand how that is even possible, since the 5-cylinder is so much longer (wider) than the 4-cylinder. In my 5-cylinder Audi, which is longitudinally installed, the radiator is set off to the side of the engine compartment, since it wouldnt fit up front like it does in the 4-cylinder versions.
