That is a very nice Golf!

NICE. welcome..

The VW factory (TAZ) is in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in Sarajevo. It was shut down during the war, but is now in operation again. A friend of mine, originally from Sarajevo, tried to visit the factory this summer, but wasnt allowed inside due to the fact that this factory also produces firearms.

We have good scene I think. You can see some our pages about VW:

VW Club Croatia (http://www.vwclubcroatia.com)
CRO VW Scena (http://www.vw-scena.net)

No Croatia didn't have the factory, but the Bosnian's had. It's called TAS (not TAZ) Tvornica (Factory) Automobila (Car's) Sarajevo. And almost all were diesel engine, almost every Bosnian have one MK2, it's their volks car :)

very nice mk2, what's the engine?

Engine is 1600 Diesel with 315000 km. It's wasn't opened yet. It's consumption with this tires (205/40/17 Falken) is about 6.5 Lt/100 km and about 1 Lt of oil per 10 000 km. It's still good but I plain to put TDI PD 130 PS and Golf MK4 dashboard and golf MK4 Climatronic.

Do you also have pics of your interior ?

Yes I have. The dashboard is from MK3, but still I have MK2 clocks, the seats are from MK4 25 Years edition, the 3rd stop light is from BMW E46 cabrio. I have Raceland "gewinde fahrwerk", MTS front lights, MTSfront blinkers for MK3 customized in hole for fog lights, rear lamps are from In.PRO, front badgedless grill with grill spoiler. hauben-lifters. I had great ICE inside but I took it out because of paint job. Now I have to rebuild it all. Head unit is ALPINE CDA- 9813R, 2 X Amplifiers from Ground Zero, 2 x Ground Zero Nuclear 12" subs, 4 x 16 cm Ground Zero kicks, 2 x 13 cm JBL mid , and 2 x Ground Zero Nuclear tweeter, 1x grund Zero capacitor and Exide XXL 95Ah 900 Ampere batery.
