Welcome! Nice place to make pictures. What is the size of your rims? It seems like 18" too me.

they are 17"s the 18"s i have fit but i could not drive it.

it's was just for fun just to see what it would look like. :D

Yup, some US gti's were made with drums (bigger drums then normal)

welcome! great car man! but what about a red/black rearreflector?

at the time this was the only one for sale and i picked it up for $40.00.
i tinted the panel and the tail lights myself. i have about $50.00 total in panel.

i recently found a red and black panel for around $135.00 which is a crazy price.

did you use transparant paint or official backlight spray? i want to tint my mk2 lichts (red). but there is no red backlicht spray for sale here. so i wanted to try transparant window paint or something.

you can get red-light tint at most car-stores, i bought mine at Dolf van Eijk for 8 euro i think

actually i used model car paint. the brand name is testors, they make several different colors.

try this link there are a few transparent colors to choose from i used 2 of the transparent black window tint 3oz cans.
