Hi,
This is my first golf, i've wanted one for ages and this one finally come up for sale by my girlfriends boss. He's kept it in the garage since he got, but i can hardly describe it as mint.
You can't see from these pictures, but there is some pretty extensive rust on 3 of the arches. Never mind, i've wire brushed all the paint off now, and it's covered in fertan rust converter. Once i've got all the rust sorted, i'll get to patching it up and filling it. I don't think it's anything that some fibreglass, a few pots of filler, some sandpaper and a few weeks hard graft won't sort out.
Anyway, just thought i'd introduce myself :biggrin:
