Rims black after 2 months
Dear members and professionals ...
I am a volkswagen fan, so i buyed a brand new passat 2019 1year ago. After 2 months driving my rims start be black and it can not be cleaned with a traditional rims cleaner. I did go back to the dealership ... but they couldnt help me, it is the fault of the carwash that you use! They use the wrong product for the rims is the answer of the dealership! Its making me crazy, so i thought maybe you guys could help me with this? Ps: i did have contact with a proffesional cleaner by phone and i did send him my pictures but he told me very easily: sorry i can’t help you ... but he never came to see the wheels .. Thanks |

I know a similar story on a TSI that wouldn't run on diesel.
In other words: Don't blame the dealer or the manufacturer if it isn't their fault. Best way is to buy a new wheel or drop them off at a paint-shop, maybe they can help you?
