Parts ordered

pair of 16v will be mad by Zornig
pair of 16g td05 turbos off of a EVO 8..

I just had surgery so the build is on hold but gathering all the part is not on hold..

Things I still need in case anyone has any hookups or free goodies or want to trade some thing for the MK1 race axles i have or other parts for sale

42lb injectors or larger
Blow off valve
Inter cooler x 2... i may be trying to used stock Audi inter coolers or 1.8t inter coolers.. not much room on the QSW for a FMIC.
A Lot more turbo parts are needed I just cant think tonight.

Zo! Dat is vet! Zo'n blok past ook makelijk in een Polo type 1, denk ik... Moet je nagaan, een Passat heeft al een gigantische motorruimte en dan moet je nóg met de flex meer ruimte maken. Gaaf projectje, hoor. Haha!

Cool project hoor! Is dat niet zo'n zelfde blok als bij Stijn in de V8? Ik snap alleen niet waarom het front eruit is gezaagd. Moet ook wel te maken zijn als het front er gewoon in blijft, ruimte zat

Hij is door deze v8 niet echt door z'n veren gezakt. Dat is het enige wat nog moet gebeuren; omlaag

Ik denk dat dat wel mee zal vallen aangezien deze op een syncro/quattro onderstel staat. Van de andere kant is de gewichtsverdeling flink uit z'n verband getrokken.. In ieder geval zal de gemiddelde amerikaanse auto erger zijn

Zo zwaar is zo'n V8 nou ook weer niet, het is wel allemaal aluminium heh (in tegenstelling tot die gietijzeren 4 en 5 cylinders).

ABH is inderdaad wat er ook in mijn Audi ligt, exact hetzelfde blok.

Ik ga dat topic wel volgen trouwens, hij gaat het ding nog turbo-en ook. Ben benieuwd hoe hij z'n compressie aanpast!

Heeft ie hem aan de originele transmissie gehangen?
Anders dat hij daarom het front eruit heeft geslepen als je met bak en al erin gaat ?

Hoe dan ook, het ziet er niet naar uit dat ie iets heeft terug gelast in plaats van de delen die er uit zijn geknipt. Torsiestijfheid zal dus wel pleite zijn.
